She could see him standing tall beside the grey birch tree.
His fur was dark grey, oh how he looked so beastly.
She knew she was scared but she wanted to be brave.
She thought “what is the possibility that this Wolf will send me to my grave?”
She knew she had to be strong because,
If she didn’t fix her fear now, it would become lifelong.
She tried hard to forget that Wolf’s were meat eaters, carnivores.
When she looked at the Wolf once again, all she could see was her own shadow.
Where did he go? She couldn’t even see his footprints in the snow.
The Wolf she once saw was all in her head.
It gave her the strength needed to see what’s ahead.
